The Meaning of Life
Day 14, 06:09
There's little room for doubt in Jon's world. In fact, the physics boffin is blessed with a reassuring confidence about life, the universe and everything.
"I know exactly how the world was formed," he announced to his incredulous housemates.
"We can say that as a theory, evolution is broadly speaking correct."
Church-going Cameron looked concerned with this. "I don't believe monkeys changed into men."
"Well, they didn't," agreed Jon, before going on to inform his housemate: "They share a common ancestor."
His skills as a data strategy manager were in full flight, as he weighed up the pros and cons of every situation. This included pondering the job description of the Almighty. "I'm trying to decide how God plays a role in today's world."
An astonished Scott and Ray must have thought they were in a parallel universe. "What programme are we on?" they asked teasingly.
Perhaps it's Big Jon's Big Adventure.
