KATE has walked out of Big Brother as the first ever female winner to a rapturous reception.

The stunning blonde received over three million public votes and, with tears in her eyes, she was escorted out by Davina following her exclusive interview.

"Oh my god!" the Home Counties youngster kept repeating as the emotion of the event overcame her.

And after posing for the multitude of photographers crammed outside, Kate was reunited with pal Jonny, plus all the former housemates with the exception of Scot Sandy.

But first to hug Kate was her twin sister Karen as sentiments ran over in an incredible finale to Big Brother.
