BOTH nominees are quite chirpy this morning. Tim has been answering questions about his natural hair colour, while Alex attends to the House's growing collection of cleaning products.

Tim and Jade lay in the garden in the hot sun, as the chatty blonde studied the hairs on his arms.

"You are quite fair really aren't you Tim?" she asked.

Tim picked at his arm hairs as and reflected, "Yeah, my arms are completely blonde."

Jade continued in her quest for the truth behind Tim's hair dye, asking the graduate, "So your natural hair would be blonde?"

Tim replied, "Oh whiter than white.

"This would be my natural hair colour here I suppose, light brown," continued Tim as he grabbed at hairs on his legs.

Jade looked slightly puzzled and asked why he didn't like his 'natural' hair colour.

"My hair is a nightmare," confessed Tim.

"The sun gets through the dye and goes all sorts of funny colours," he continued, "it goes red and everything."

Alex, meanwhile, began to unpack the House's new supply of cleaning products in the kitchen.

Jonny, who had been the only housemate still in bed, emerged from the bedroom carrying his duvet, and found Alex, who had discovered some sanitary towels among the cleaning products.

Handing them to Jonny, he jovially mocked, "Do you want some of these?"

Jonny then went to join Kate, Jade and Tim in the garden, leaving Alex alone in his cleaning product crusade.
