The Truce
Day 56, 21:11
IT'S been fireworks for the last 48 hours but Jade and Alex have finally called a truce in a private chat away from the others in the garden.
"Last night when we had our tiff," Jade said, broaching the subject carefully, "you said some nasty, horrible things but you're entitled to your opinion."
Then growing in stature by the second, the London girl told Alex that despite what she might have said in the heat of the moment, she doesn't think he is "boring" at all.
"What was said was said," Alex responded, sounding world-weary but willing to take up the offer of the olive branch. "What I said today doesn't mean I don't like you."
Defending her corner skilfully Jade then repeated, "Everybody's entitled to their opinion - I think I'm allowed to let people grow on me whereas Alex, you're a very strong-minded person and you stick to your opinions."
"I change my mind a number of times," she continued diplomatically. "I don't mean to come across as two-faced...Now I've had the chance to get [to know Jonny and Kate] I DO find them funny."
Alex used his favourite tactic next - bringing up past incidences of supposed 'two-faced' behaviour, but for her part the cockney chatterbox remained calm and composed to the point where Alex started to back down.
"It's coming to a close now," the model offered. "If I'm here for another week, let's just get on with it."

"Although I felt small I tried to rise above it today... I don't want it to be awkward with us. I don't want you to lick my arse just for us to be civil," she replied.
Showing regret over the events of last night the cover boy conceded, "Last night you got to me first and then it happened - I've got these feelings about everybody."
"I don't feel really bad against you," Jade told him once the model had made his point.
"Let's quit while we're both head," Alex then offered after a few moments of reflection.
Let's just wait and see whether this will be the end of it.
