JADE has found that she has gone up a dress size while living in the House after splitting her favourite pair of trousers this afternoon.

The bubbly Londoner took the realisation with good humour.

Giggling as she emerged from the bedroom, she told Alex and Tim about her side-splitting discovery.

"I thought I'd have a giggle and see how far I could get 'em... then I ripped them all the way down the side!" she guffawed.

"Then I put my green skirt on," she continued with admirable honesty, "and I could feel myself hanging out of it."

"Then I put another jean skirt on - 'cos they're all a size 12, which I was when I came in the House - and it didn't fit me! The camera man must have been giggling."

"So I put this white skirt on and it wouldn't go past my bum! So I put this on," she gushed, gesturing to a figure-hugging denim skirt, "'cos it's stretchy and the only thing that fits me! I'll be wearing this and my tracksuit bottoms from now on!"

"I've gone up a whole dress size - that's disgusting!" she continued in a cheerful, yet resigned tone.

"You've been eating about 30 bars of chocolate in here, so don't be surprised!" came Alex's less than sympathetic response.

As Jade giggled the model continued, "You're lucky there's no scales in here!"

"I'm not going to weigh myself and I'm not going shopping till I lose weight," laughed the curvy cockney. "That depresses me!"

"A whole dress size!" she continued, incredulously, before deciding it was a good job that she wasn't in the House for another month as she really would turn into "Mrs Blobby"!

She then said she'd wasn't going to be able fit into her friends' cars and would have to be "strapped to the roof"!

But Jade shouldn't worry. After such a stressful time over the past eight weeks it's no wonder she's turned to food for comfort. "It's nothing a good night out with my mates won't sort out!" she concluded.
