THE winner of Big Brother is Kate. The blonde stunner pipped her closest friend in the House, Jonny, by receiving 58% of the final round of voting.
After spending 10 minutes celebrating making it to the final two with cries of their idiosyncratic: "Yes!" the duo heard Davina's announcement at 10.30pm.
On hearing the news, Kate burst into tears crying "Oh my God!" as she fell into Jonny's arms.
"I told ya!" shouted the fireman, who ended up finishing as the runner-up.
Hand in hand
"I'll see you out there," Jonny told the emotional Kate, as he walked up the stairs to greet the frenetic crowd outside.
Leaving behind the weeping winner, the County Durham lad was mobbed by fans and family alike as he made his way to the studio for the exclusive interview.
Kate now has at least half an hour to wait for her exit as the first ever female winner of Big Brother.
