WEEK SIX ON DING DONG

Too busy collecting an Olivier award to tune into Ding Dong? Well, read on for the latest goings-on!

The show may have been the last in series for Celebrity Ding Dong, but that didn’t stop such first round questions as, “What takes longer, Richard Blackwood receiving a coffee enema to clean out his gut as seen on celebrity detox or Dinorod to clear out the sewage drain of a two bedroom house?” The civilians certainly knew their enemas. But bless lovely wee Lorraine Kelly, she put in a valiant effort to get the points.

School kids infiltrated the majesty of round two with ‘Brat Chat’. Teams had to figure out which celebrity the little ones were describing. Ex-Corrie star Sally Lindsay was on the ball, correctly coming in with the answer Simon Cowell.

During ‘Life Swap’, dancing lothario Brendan Cole was put up against civilian Lisa in a battle of the taste buds. In the end Lisa’s taste buds proved more discerning. A new round for the last show of the series came in the form of ‘Meet The Parents’. Teams had to solve which celebrity the yummy mummy had created. The enchanting Lorraine Kelly was spot on with her answer, which, incidentally, was Jonathan Ross.

So going into the last bout, ‘Final Ding Dong’, the teams were level-pegging. Trisha Goddard put the celebs ahead, but this wasn’t to last as the quick-fire kings proved to be the civilians. Their victory ensured them a holiday to Malta, film set of the stars.
