Tensions in the camp rise as the group waits for the missing servants and mistresses, and rise even more when they return, very late. The latecomers and the two mistresses lie through their teeth about their actions whilst they were gone, insisting that they were only having coffee and waiting for the bus and despite the Queen’s interrogation they keep quiet about their real activities. An argument also breaks out in the kitchen between Danny and Myles, and it is clear that the boys’ group is also divided.
Angela decides that the 4 boys who arrived back on time can share a reward, which is resented by the others. And Desrine pours her heart out to G on the beach, as she feels that she is not being accepted by the women. The arguments in the women’s group also continue, with aggression between Angela and Desrine and Lianne. All this makes for a very telling sacrifice…
