Relentless is a six part TV quiz show racing onto T4, set to leave the other snail paced shows standing. Presented by heartthrob and T4 presenter Rick Edwards, Relentless is filmed on location around the UK and is a one of a kind adrenaline fuelled show. Contestants must try and complete a series of challenges correctly to win a cash prize. Those who apply have no idea when the show will begin, or how – they’re just told to be on call, await instructions and be ready to act. Relentless challenges could start immediately, days, weeks or even months later. They could be shopping with their mum or sleeping in the dead of night. The question could come in the most unexpected form – even on a cinema screen in front of a packed audience! The only thing that contestants can rely on is that once this show begins, it will be relentless.

Each episode will feature one contestant who will be challenged to answer ten questions at anytime over a 48 hour period. Morning, noon or night, they can expect the unexpected as they have no idea when or where they’ll be quizzed. They could be asked to trawl London looking for Peter Stringfellow’s G-string, or set any manner of challenge in a race against the clock. Whatever it is they are asked they must be prepared to give the answer within a set time and at a set place and aren’t allowed to use their mobiles or the internet to help with the answers. They can only use their own knowledge or the goodwill of the general public! Rick Edwards will setting upon his unsuspecting victims in the following order over the series; Newcastle, London, Brighton, Cardiff, London (for a second episode) and then in the final episode in Edinburgh.

Each time they answer a question they will either get closer to a big cash prize or risk leaving with nothing at all. For each correct answer the contestant will win £500 with a maximum cash prize of £5,000 if they get all ten questions correct. They will need to show some commitment to get this right – Relentless will thoroughly dominate their lives for an unforgettable 48 hours.

Not that I know of. Some of the challenges are well out of order, and quite honestly, I wouldn’t do them. But it just goes to show how much people like money. And humiliation."
