They have been described as the indie Wu Tang Clan. Canadian band Broken Social Scene have 17 members, who are all connected with the Arts & Crafts label.

Broken Social Scene have a self-titled album due, the follow up to 2002's You Forgot it in People, the album which is said to have started the infiltration of Canadian music on the rest of the world. Including The Arcade Fire, Stars, The Dears, Death From Above and Wolf Parade.

Broken Social Scene have annouced details of a UK tour in February. The dates are as follows.
