Orson formed in 2000 in Hollywood and took their name from Orson Welles. That's why the band wear hats everywhere, in tribute to old Hollywood. When Orson appeared on Soccer AM they choose Rotherham United out of a hat as their team - the band now intend to play a money-raising gig for the club. They have also supported Duran Duran.
