GETTING THERE

Hello there! The T4 on the Beach army will once more be creating a fully-operational T4 battlestation on Weston-super-Mare's gorgeous sea front. Weston is just down the road from Bristol on the West Coast - like LA from Frisco - but in England.

The gates will open at around 11am and the performances will draw to a close at around 6pm.

Here's the skinny on getting to the event...

By Coach

National Express will be running a selection of services to and from the event from all corners of the UK this year.

A specific Coach Park is available in Locking Road Car Park. All Coaches will be directed to drop-off and park at this location. You will not be able to drop off next to the event site so please use this facility.

Coach travel is more environmentally friendly too.

Fact!

Big Green Coach Update

National Express will honouring all ticket purchases made from Big Green Coach so if you bought your ticket from them, then do not fret. Departures will be from your local National Express departure point. These along with the departure times can be found on the National Express website.

By Car

  • From the South - Please exit M5 from Junction 22 and follow existing signage to Weston-super-Mare. On the approach to Weston-super-Mare event traffic will be diverted through the village of Uphill (following event signage) and parked on the beach next to the event site.
  • From the North - Please exit M5 from Junction 21 and follow event signage which will direct you to the event car park located next to the event site.

There will be super special event parking on July 19th - all event traffic will be parked on the beach next to the event site which is pretty darn cool if you ask us, but you didn't, which is fine too.

The car park opens its doors at 6am and we encourage visitors to get down to beach early to avoid delays and ease congestion. For Blue Badge holders there is limited parking available near the Royal Sands Beach entrance.

For 2009 there will be no Park and Ride so please follow event-parking signage from Junction 21 and 22, M5.

Drop off Point

For those being dropped off at the event a specific point has been allocated in Clarence Park East. Please follow drop-off point signage which will separate you from other event traffic. Clarence Park East is a 2 minute walk from the event site, and the facility will be managed by the North Somerset Ranger Service. After the event cars wishing to pick up can park within the park and wait. There is no drop off in the beach car park or surrounding area.
