CHECKLIST
In an ideal world we could all prance naked along the beach with just our love of music to keep us company... but in reality you need the list we have now tirelessly compiled (with perhaps a LOT of help from the local council, thanks!) to make sure you're properly prepared. Check it out:
1. Most importantly, the event has completely sold out, there are no tickets left! The amount of tickets that we have left is NONE! I’m sorry we have no bananas (where bananas means tickets!). So please don’t come down without a ticket as you won’t be able to get in, but you can get your T4OTB fix live from your TV on T4 so tune in.
2. Please don't bring any glass bottles to the beach. A beach covered in broken glass is a bad beach and we don’t want to turn Weston’s lovely beach into a bad beach! Make sure you throw your rubbish away too.
3. Only unopened water in plastic bottles of 500ml or smaller will be allowed. If it’s hot, (fingers permanently crossed!) make sure you drink plenty of water so you don't get dehydrated.
4. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
5. There will be areas to buy food – so please don’t bring your own - and you will be able to buy boozes at the event, so if you look under 21, don't forget your ID.
6. There won’t be any ATM cash machines within the event area so make sure you bring enough moolah with you for the day.
7. The event will go ahead whatever the weather so be prepared and bring sunscreen and a waterproof.
8. No professional camera equipment or recording equipment will be allowed, but worry not as you can still take snaps full of pouts and air punching with your normal camera.
9. The first band is on stage at 11.30am so get to the beach early so as not miss ‘em. The show finishes at 6pm and the doors will finally close at 7pm.
Getting to T4 on the beach 2009
For all information on getting to this year's T4 on the Beach head on over to our Getting There section. The local police have gone and given us some advice for y’all on how to avoid crime... take heed!
General:
1. Keep bags closed, zipped up, buckled and with you at ALL times.2. Carry your wallet out of sight: front trouser pocket for men, NOT back pocket.
3. Don’t be flash with your cash. Keep it hidden until you need it and only take out what you need.
4. Stay with your friends, look out for each other and nominate a meeting place for if you get separated.
Mobile Phones
Best Advice Don’t take it with you: leave it at home NOT in the car. Remember, if it is lost or stolen, it is expensive to replace. Plus the hassle of losing stored numbers, messages, photos. Protect your phone - it's valuable to you.But if you must bring it...
...Keep it hidden
...Keep calls brief
...Keep hold of it at all times
Register: your phone for free at www.immobilise.com. It only takes a couple of minutes and it's completely free. To register you will need to enter your contact details and your phone's 15-digit IMEI number (this is your phone's unique serial number). The IMEI number normally appears underneath the battery in your phone, but on most phones it can be viewed on screen by pressing *#06#. Once registered, you will have a better chance of getting it back if it is lost or stolen.
Report: If your phone is lost or stolen you should...
...Report it immediately to the police
...Call your service provider so they can block it. Once blocked, it cannot be used again on any network, even with a new SIM card.
...You can use the Immobilise helpline number to contact your service provider: 07801 123 123.
Reunite: If your phone is recovered you will be contacted and told your phone is safe.
