Sam Sparro

Australian born Sam Sparro grew up among the beautiful people of LA after moving to America with his family, but spent his early years yearning for the upbringing that only a place like London could offer – smog, dirty trains and unrivalled rudeness, but also it's incredible music scene.

When he was old enough to follow his London dream, Sam moved to the UK, immersing himself in the fashionable music scene, working at record labels to fund his interest in music and hectic social lifestyle.

Soon, broke and unable to maintain his lifestyle, Sam returned to LA where he was signed to a small indie label, releasing an EP which included the track 'Black And Gold'. Catching the attention of major labels, Sam was signed to Island Records on the strength of 'Black And Gold' and was soon releasing the track to critical acclaim. More importantly, the success of the single allowed Sam to return to his spiritual homeland of London town…
