It would be true to say that the Ja Rule collaboration
'Always On Time' made Ashanti a happy lady. But it would also be
fair to say that it made her label Def Jam very happy too, being
their top selling single ever. A match made in heaven? Another
great collaboration was on J. Lo's 'I'm Real' and it was pretty much
job-done as far as Ashanti's career was concerned. Having won
the Mastercard MOBO Award 2002 for Best R&B Act, she's back
again in 2003 defending her title. Stiff competition come in the
shapes of Beyonce, Mr Timberlake, Kelly Rowland and Terri Walker.
Ashanti's new single 'Rain On Me' will be with you late October.
