Once I'd cleansed Josephine's skin I applied Chanel Teint Innocence Fluid in Naturel. It's a luminous fluid foundation which glides onto the skin and has light-reflecting pigments. Before I applied the dark, smoky eye shadow colour I used a base shadow first, MAC eye shadow in Vanilla. I used a large eye shadow brush and applied to the whole eye lid area. It's important to apply a base when doing a smoky eye as it will make it easier to apply the darker shadow. Tip: You can use any colour when creating a smoky eye, it doesn't have to be black or grey. Try experimenting with aubergines, purples and bronzes. |
