The Leadmill - probably the best-known venue. Early-career gigs from Muse, Oasis, Coldplay, White Stripes, Stereophonics

The Boardwalk - The venue for early shows by rock growler Joe Cocker and the late Robert Palmer, and legendary gigs from The Clash and Sex Pistols.

The Grapes - Some of the very first Arctic's gigs were here. Very popular for up-and-coming acts.

West Street Live - Another very popular with unsigned talent striving to be the next big thing, and wall to wall with rock memorabilia.

Fashion

Sheffield boasts one of Europe's largest shopping malls in Meadowhall and some very cool shopping areas aside from that...

Fargate - Popular pedestrian area in the city centre with a strong emphasis on fashion, street entertainers and specialist markets.

Devonshire Quarter - Widely regarded as the coolest part of town. The main thoroughfare is Division Street and Devonshire Street with a wealth of independent stores you can’t find on the average high street. West One, on Fitzwilliam Street, has a great selection of eateries and shops.
