Twenty-two year old Karl John aka Faro from Manchester touches on everyday topics with his music and trys to bring realness that people can feel, He doesn’t want to follow the crowd talking about guns and violence. He’s into rap, grime, bashment. RnB and a little bit of rock.

Faro has been rapping for many years, in 2000 he was in a rap group rapping with an American accent, he then started grime and found his identity, he realised that he wasn’t true to himself and started rhyming in his British accent. His main influences are Micheal Jackson and Tupac. Faro describes his style as eclectic. Jay Z meets Nas.


The youngest of eight siblings Faro says he is wise with an old head and describes himself as intelligent, talented, determined, ambitious and positive. Outside working on his music his hobbies are creating fashion and new styles, hanging out with his mates, driving long distances in his Audi A2. In five years time he sees himself in the music industry, currently he does counselling and therapy studies at college he would like to combine the two passions and be a mentor to young kids while at the same time become and successful recognised artist.
