After creating a suit of bread we'll go swimming with the fishes and film the under water chaos as fish nibble on our breadsticks!

Up early to catch yet another boat to some island we've since forgotten the name of - today was the day of the By Crumbs Challenge. We went to a national marina which has beautiful coral with an array of fishes and even sharks. This Challenge was given to us by Patrick O'Brien. This should have been simple, all we had to do was create a bread suit and then jump in the sea.

Our attempts at making a bread suit consisted of needle and thread, staples and then masking tape. All of which didn't really work but we tried our best and, Mum always told us that if we try our best then that's all that matters. Unless our best is rubbish and then she beats us with an iron rod (only joking Social Services!)

A lot of people had gathered to watch us as we moved towards the ocean - well, we say "gathered to watch us" but what we really mean is - they all got out of the water themselves and then grabbed their children to make sure that two idiots wouldn't endanger either their or their kids lives. Even one of the employees stopped us to warn of the presence of sharks. That was nice of him before we jumped in without listening.

Splash! We were in and the fish were at us in no time. There were thousands of the little buggers and they showed no fear. The nibbled at every orifice and some even bit at our fingers. Luckily they didn't bite too hard but hard enough to freak us out. They went for our bodies in huge numbers and they thrashed and bashed against our faces.

We screamed and wriggled and splashed about more than all the actors in Jaws put together and then we saw it. A Shark!

No more than 10 feet away from us was the menace of the deep. He looked at us, we looked at him. We tried to stare him down for what must have been like, oh, a full 1.241 seconds before fleeing. He was massive and looked evil and swam after us trying to grab at our flippers and just as we pulled ourselves out of the water he took one huge bite out of Lee's leg and he required 214 stitches.

Okay, so the above is just like any other fishing story, a little elaborated perhaps. But, there was a shark and we did flee, he didn't bite and if truth be told he was only a couple of feet long. But would you have stayed in the water wearing a bread suit as a man-eating shark swam below you?

The challenge was great though and despite our rubbish suits the fish did swarm and go for us so it has to get the thumbs up. It was scary, it was funny, it was stupid. It was perfect.
