No strangers to dogs, we'll film ourselves riding 101 different animals all over Asia!
Just before we start we should say that for our gay friends that are always hopeful of us turning, don't be mislead by the title of this challenge. The challenge was actually to ride 101 animals on our travels. Bloody hell is this one hell of a challenge. We originally thought this would be simple and then we tried to make a list of animals we were likely to encounter and be able to ride on this trip. We had around 6 real animals on our list before we started writing things down like rat, spider, ants etc.
We kind of knew we were doomed to fail this from the start but decided to attempt as many as possible. The first of was the humble dog. Lee having ridden a dog or two in his younger years decided to give it a bash. Straddling a sleeping dog and about to deposit his weight on it swiftly changed his mind when thus said dog awoke and growled at him looking directly at his goolies. That was this challenge over as far as Lee was concerned, so for the remainder of the attempts Lindsay was in the saddle.
A good few animals have had Lindsay try to get on their back on this trip and most have rejected his advances, such is life (well for Lindsay anyway). First up was a pig which we are still in debate as to whether this was successful or not. Hours were spent on trying to lure a our little porky friend between Lindsay's legs and when it noticed what was going on a shriek bellowed out all over Goa, created equally by the pig and Lindsay both sh**ing themselves.
There has since been a horse so small it would have looked more appropriate riding Lindsay's back. Lindsay's knees were practically dragging along the beach and the horse eventually had to be lifted by crane from the sand as Lindsay's weight created a quick-sand type situation.
Since then there has been other animals which included camel riding and attempts at riding a Yak up the Himalayas (as in the mountains not as in a metaphor). The challenge fell well short of the 101 animals required but provided us with some great laughs. We would like to state that we did not sit on any spiders or ants as Lee's dedication to Green Peace will not allow any animals or even insects to be harmed or killed. This rule does not apply to mosquitoes.
