Learn a language and experience the world!
Fancy getting a firmer grip on languages? It's a great way to get you closer to the things you love doing – whether you want to check out the latest French hip-hop tracks or get the lowdown from skateboarders in Brazil. And when you're abroad, showing off your skills with the lingo will win you loads of respect from the locals!
If you're already studying a language at school, why not take it further to GCSE level? Studying a language for GCSE is a great way to help you understand and communicate in a new way while giving you a skill that lasts for life. 2011 sees the launch of an exciting new qualification: the Diploma in Languages and International Communication. Available in schools as an alternative to GCSEs and A-levels, this will allow you to develop your knowledge of languages, cultures and the world at large.
