This is the view from my kitchen window in a Coventry suburb. It records an outlook which will very shortly change forever, as new occupants 'make-over' the wonderful wilderness which has grown up beyond the wall, and I, in turn, do the same to my kitchen. It combines the sadness which accompanies loss and change, with the hope that it is all for the better.
