The Turner Prize 2002 The Turner Prize is the most prestigious contemporary art prize in the UK. Hosted at Tate Britain, the prize is awarded to a British artist under 50 for an outstanding exhibition or other presentation in the 12 months before 10 May 2002. 2002's winner was Keith Tyson.
