Noreen KershawNoreen Kershaw directed To The Broad Shore
She started off as an actor in stage plays including Claire Luckham's Trafford Tanzi and the first Shirley Valentine. On TV she played Phyllis in Life On  Mars.  She’s directed for stage, tv and film where she trained in multi camera while doing Coronation Street. She went on to direct Emmerdale, Hearbeat and Shameless. She’s now in post production of her first feature film Act Of Grace. More

She is a director and writer operating from Yorkshire. Joyce was formerly Artistic Director of Watford Palace Theatre and Artistic Director of The Basement, Bristol Old Vic. An experienced dramaturge/script editor, she’s worked with Ben Elton, Sarah Daniels and lots of new writers. Recent productions include Bang! Oldham Coliseum’s New Northern Asian Writing initiative 2007. Joyce has  completed Channel 4’s Regional Directors’ Scheme. More

Andrew FosterAndrew Foster directed Proud Songster
One of New Zealand ’s top theatre directors, Andrew is a driving force behind a ‘new-wave’ of theatre making there. As director with the NZ theatre company Trouble, he has produced a number of award-winning, world-touring ‘installation’ and ‘site specific’ theatre works. Andrew has also worked on a number of television and film projects, most notably with HBO’s comedy hit Flight of the Concords, and Taika Waititi. More

Sarah WeatherallSarah Weatherall directed The Colonel    
She runs her own theatre company, Lightning Ensemble and has directed videos about radio drama for Channel 4. On graduating from the Slade School of Fine Art, she was television research assistant for Stephen Poliakoff whilst making films. She was then assistant to the Artistic Director at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Credits include, How I Became Indian [Short film, winnner Silver Plaque, Chicago Film Festival, Broadcast BBC2], Last Days of the Post Office [Short film, Edinburgh Film Festival] and The Mayday, [site-specific play in Leeds]. More
