Series 5 (2008)
The fifth series of Channel 4’s Shariah TV comes from New York City – home to one of the most ethnically diverse Muslim populations in the world. Here, Muslims from over 80 countries across four continents have settled alongside immigrants from all parts of the globe. In a city still healing from the scar of 9/11 Shariah TV has assembled a cross-section of young Muslims to pose searching questions for a panel of eminent Islamic experts. Tazeen Ahmad chairs the discussions.
