Krishnan Guru-Murthy
Krishnan joined Channel 4 in 1998 and as well as being one of the main presenters has reported from around Britain and the world too. Before that he spent ten years at the BBC on a range of programmes from Newsround to Newsnight. He also contributes regularly to newspapers and radio.

Watch him talk about his experiences of racism, how he defines it, and how he believes it's "an innate part of human nature" which mustn't be accepted.

Im not racist but..... I dont think this woman was being racist she was just being honest because i for one know that i would have more in common with a black girl in her 20s rather than a white girl in her 20s.the word racism is so broad now that your natural inclinations can be thought of as racist.racism is born out of fear so they are scared,this is their home and they feel out of place.nobody likes to feel out of place in their own home.

Krishnan's interviews are really interesting. Just one of the points he makes highlights that there are differences between attitudes in the city and in the country.
