Imran came from a village in Pakistan where he had never been to school regularly, he came to Peterborough to live with his mum and her British Pakistani second husband.

Altynay came from Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, where she lived in a tower block with her hard-working aunties and grandmother. She and her mum now live in a picturesque village in South Yorkshire.
