Canemaker (Pantheon, 1996) US edition only, available through online bookshops.
Takes the reader through the murky past of the well-loved cat, discussing
the argument over who created him. Credit had been claimed for Felix by
producer Pat Sullivan but in actual fact the concept and creation was
the work of Otto Messmer, the maker of the film.
