First Cut presents the Great Football Giveaway, a true story about Paul Clarke who gave up everything to give away footballs to children in Africa.

Paul Clarke
What started as a mad idea turned into an epic story about setting up a charity and hand delivering over 6,000 footballs to children in Malawi, one of the world's poorest countries, and Angola, one of the world's most dangerous countries.

In Malawi he comes face to face with poverty, but remains determined to put smiles on the kids' faces.

In Angola he travels through minefields to get to Huambo, a city that suffered most from the brutal civil war that engulfed Angola for almost 30 years.

This is an inspirational story that shows a different side to Africa. It is a journey of hope and optimism, based on a simple belief that kids are kids; irrespective of their circumstances, kids just want to have fun.
