In tonight's opening film, we follow three families going through the stresses and strains of finding the ideal carer for their precious off-spring. Staff are hired and fired, language barriers hinder good communication and cultural clashes take root.
The Scott-Darlings hire Perin, a Turkish au pair who is desperate to find the sea on her first day alone with the kids, but she can barely speak English and has no idea how far it is.
Single mum, Gilly Holloway has to give Anna, her young Brazilian au pair, lessons in basic cleaning, cooking and child care, while the unconventional Jennings hire the first au pair they meet. And her interview takes place on a ride-on lawn mower!
How will they all fare, and what will the live in help make of their new 'families'?
