There's Linzi, whose mum Pat says: 'I knew from the moment Linzi turned 12 that it was only a matter of time before she got pregnant. I'm surprised she actually waited until she was eighteen before it happened.'
Linzi, 19, is about to give birth for the second time in 14 months – both pregnancies were accidents and although her boyfriend Andy is father to both babies, they still don't live together. Andy is proving to be a terrific dad, but he lives with his mum and she lives with her children. This doesn't worry Linzi. 'There's no point in rushing into things', she says.

Kerrie Anne has been brought up without her parents since the age of six and, at just 17, she's about to have the baby she believes will give her all the things she never had. 'I need the baby for a reason, just someone to love a bit more… just to look after, the way my parents didn't look after me.'

But it wasn't until a chance meeting when she was 16 that they starting dating… and Krista almost immediately got pregnant. Now they're having their second baby. As David himself says of his pretty girlfriend, 'People say how have you got a bird like that, lad, how have you got a girlfriend like that? I dunno, pure fluke.'
