Mum, Heroin and Me is a film about what happens when your daughter becomes a heroin addict. Shot over the course of a year by award-winning documentary-maker Jane Treays (Painted Babies, Extraordinary Families), the film follows Kate (49), her heroin-addicted daughter Hannah (20) and Hannah's boyfriend, Ricky (31). As Hannah moves from pavement, to hostel, to bedsit, the film provides a moving portrait of a mother and daughter trying to love one another through the fog of heroin addiction.
