Palestinians include Christians and Muslims, as well as many people who are secularists. However, the Israel/Palestine conflict has fanned the flames of religious fervour on both sides, since many sites in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories are sacred to all three Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
