Naomi, who first discovered the competition through the Channel 4 website, said: “I was searching the website trying to find what was on telly that night, when I came across the Breathe link. The concept of the competition really appealed to me as I am very interested in the media industry. I liked the idea of being able to develop a short film that would act like an advertisement about the negatives of smoking.
“Going to London to work through my ideas was a brilliant experience, and then have them become reality has been an even bigger achievement. Now I’m hoping to follow this by studying advertising and marketing at university. Hopefully my experience from this competition will one day help me towards a job in advertising."
