Now in its 18th year, the British Book Awards – known as "The Nibbies" – is the biggest, gliztiest award ceremony in the book calendar and the event that celebrates the nation’s favourite books, authors and publishers.
This year's British Book Awards took place on the 28th March 2006 at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London and was presented by Richard and Judy.
