Andy Goldsworthy: Giant Snowball

Andy Goldsworthy: Giant Snowball
Back    Next

In June 2000 13 one ton snowballs, made by Andy Goldsworthy, formed a London street exhibition. These melted over a period of three to five days to reveal different materials he had packed into them. These included sheep's wool, chestnut seeds, elderberries and barbed wire – all materials that Goldsworthy uses in his environmental and often short-lived works (photo: Tony Harris/EMPICS)
