Matt and Ross are the self-styled unlikely lads of the East End art scene who take a deliberately irreverent view of art.
They find their inspiration in a wide variety of subjects and anything, from Constables romantic painting of Hadleigh Castle to a mobile phone snap, is considered a worthwhile subject for their intervention. They are also happy to send up the notion of the artist as hero and present themselves as heroic stuntmen in the piece ‘I Stared into The Face of God’.
