Liz Collins was born in Birmingham, England in 1970. After completing a degree in documentary photography at Farnham she moved to London and has been combining documentary photography with portrait and fashion photography ever since. Collins has published work in magazines such as Dazed and Confused, The Face and Vogue and has shot advertising campaigns for a wide range of clients that include Burberry and Givenchy.

Three works by Liz Collins are currently in the Channel 4 collection. They are Untitled (Girl Water Face Profile), Untitled (Girl Red Sunglasses, Water) and Untitled (Girl Spitting Water)
