Channel 4's new and on-going art collection project, Art4 has purchased work by a diverse group of artists for 'in house' display and eventual loan to regional galleries. A panel of experts including Gavin Turk and Matthew Collings have been seeking out the most challenging work being made by emerging artists in the UK, and work is being purchased from the likes of Tariq Alvi, Michael Fullerton and Shez Dawood, whilst a site specific commission by Simon Periton will be installed in 2004 in the main Channel4 office.
