Julie is a freelance journalist who writes for the Guardian and Weekend magazine, and various other British and European newspapers and magazines.
She has written investigative features on international prostitution, stalking and harassment, transsexualism, being a lesbian schoolgirl and the beauty industry.
She is a founder member of the feminist law reform campaign Justice for Women.
