Channel 4, together with all other UK broadcasters, is granted it’s Licence to Broadcast by Ofcom. A condition of this Licence is that all programmes adhere to the Ofcom Broadcasting Code. It is essential that all producers familiarise themselves with the Broadcasting Code. Ofcom also publish Broadcast Code Guidance notes to accompany the Broadcasting Code, it is strongly recommended that you check these from time to time as they are often updated.
