Q: I've got a great sport documentary idea - are you interested?
A: Yes – but bear in mind that we have no dedicated documentary strand at present. However we are more than prepared to help ensure that the very best ideas get on air.

Q. Are you interested in more minority sports?
A: Yes, if they can command an audience. We have slots early morning and late night for this type of programming, but the shows we broadcast in these slots are made on tight budgets, many of them being sponsor funded.

Q: Does the programme production company always get the website production contract for that particular sport?
A: No. For example our cricket programming was produced by Sunset and Vine, and the cricket website was produced by Zone. However we are increasingly interested in a more integrated approach.

Q: What durations are you looking for?
A: Half hour durations are much easier to place within our Saturday and Sunday a.m. schedule but the occasional one hour can be accommodated. For the late night schedule we prefer to work with either half or one hour durations, but we can accommodate up to 2 hours for football matches and anything else that can justify it.

Q: What are the lengths of the runs?
A: Whilst we can accommodate one-offs, we prefer to build strands to create a more stripped schedule within our off-peak zones. We have a number of year long series currently playing and a high volume of 6 - 20 part series.

Q: Do you work with new production companies?
A: Of course and we try to find at least a couple of new ones to work with a year. We prefer some proven track record, whether it is within the Sport itself or showreels of previous work.

Q: What are your Budgets for off-peak sport?
A: We can rarely exceed £5,000 per hour and as a result broadcast a large number of sponsor funded series.

Q: Should I send tapes?
A: It would help if you are a new company or if you are proposing a Sport that we may have little knowledge of.
