It's our job to broadcast investigations which look into and challenge major institutions and areas of British life and internationally.

There is a strong emphasis on undercover reports with a domestic agenda. Successful reports have included Undercover Mosque.

But investigation is about more than undercover. Our recent examination of Ken Livingstone is a good example.

For most domestic investigations, we are aiming to get an audience of two million.

Foreign investigations, usually with a reporter who takes the viewer on a journey of journalistic discovery, are vital to us. Our award-winning film China’s Stolen Children is an excellent example of a film which was both investigative and a beautiful documentary.

Economic stories are important to us.

We are also interested in proposals for one hour films which use investigative techniques to reveal the truth about popular subjects like supermarkets.

Send proposals to:

Kevin Sutcliffe, Deputy Head News and Current Affairs.
