Nations and Regions leads Channel 4's core corporate objectives outside London, in particular the licence requirement to deliver 30% of originated programmes from companies outside London.

These strategic ambitions are supplemented by a small task team, which delivered Research and Development support to independent producers in the Nations and Regions.
