Damian de Montemas : I guess there are parts of me in my character but I am very very different in most areas.

Damian de Montemas : I'm not sure which episode you're up to but yeah it happens a few times, stay tuned!
Katrin : Do you think Jason is morally suspect as a character?
Damian de Montemas : Not at all. I think he's up-standing and a moral champion. All Australian guys are like that.

Damian de Montemas : Yeah it's great I don't even have to go to auditions anymore.

Damian de Montemas : For the XXXX ad, yes! But for the Secret Life, no.

Damian de Montemas : I don't want to give too much away, but there are a few other encounters, perhaps with people you guys haven't met yet, but no more with Alex (damnit!)
Oxeney : Obviously Neighbours is one of Australias biggest imports over here have you ever auditioned for the show?
Pythem : Will we be seeing you in any other shows over here in the UK anytime soon?
Damian de Montemas : No, I've never auditioned for Neighbours, never wanted to! There is a show coming over to the UK called Crash Palace. I play a guest role as a French back-packer, bad accent and all!
Frankston : Damian, de Montemas is an unusual surname, what's the background?
Damian de Montemas : It's French; my Grand-Father was French.
josh fischer : have you got ambitions to progress into movies, or have you already starred in a film?
Damian de Montemas : I've done a few dodgy films and I'd love to do more films. As you all know in the UK most Australian TV isn't up to the standard of the Secret Life, so film would definitely be something I'd love to get into. Know any good parts?

Damian de Montemas : I don't know if you have a programme called Chances over there but it's kind of like a cross between that and Home and Away (dodgy!)
alastair : what was your funniest moment during filming?
Damian de Montemas : Erm... there are many. There is a really funny scene where I catch Gabrielle and that's all I can say really without giving too much away. It involved sitting in the dark for a long time enduring her behaviour, her dodgy behaviour.
Mic : How did you get into acting then?
kirsty : what did you start your career doing????
Damian de Montemas : I went to acting school for 3 years and before that I just did a few bit parts and commercials. The first job I had was a show called Minty which was a BBC2 show which was filmed in Perth. It was a bit of a piss-take on Home and Away. I've talked about Home and Away quite a lot haven't I? I don't know why I don't even watch the show!

Martin : How is Secret Life doing on Aussie TV as I believe it has just started over there?
Damian de Montemas : Yeah we've just had our 2nd week, it's rating really really well, which is good. It had a bit of competition from BlackAdder and thankfully it's not up against Da Ali G Show.
Sarah : What do you think of the Ali G show?
Damian de Montemas : I think it's the best thing I've seen on TV...EVER. I love Borat and it's becoming huge over here. Everyone is walking around saying 'Selecta'.

Dawnus : Have you already begun shooting a second series of Secret Life?
Damian de Montemas : No, not yet Dawnus. It's pretty certain that we will be. Maybe in November, but hopefully before February.
alicecookson : so damian, what does your girlfriend think about seeing you in compromising positions on tv?

Damian de Montemas : She's incredibly proud of me. She's cool, she knows that it's just acting. She is a lot more understanding than I would be. Are you my girlfriend's cousin Alice?

Damian de Montemas : Hopefully, as soon as I can. I haven't been for a long time and I'd love to go there, I love it. Definitely if there is a 2nd series I'll be over there. Or sooner if I am invited.

Damian de Montemas : I'm not sure if she actually sang while they were filming it, but she is a singer and she is just as much a singer as she is an actor. She wrote the song and she has a great voice.
