Sian Evans : I hope so, I'm saving up for some decks. Even though I will be pursuing my classical career, I hope to find a lot of time for some DJing.
dj ajay : if you were offered a residency at a club, and the pay was loads more than you could earn as a Cellist, would you take it?

Sian Evans : I'd have to think about it, contemplating selling my soul to the devil for some quick cash...hmmm.
elle : Have you bought any of the tunes that you played? Or are you sticking with classical?
Sian Evans : I kept all the records that I bought and were sent to me, and I play them all on a regular basis.
Ronny : Did the other girls DJing know you were faking it ?
Sian Evans : No, and it was the hardest part of the 4 weeks, having to lie.
Big Dave : Sian, have you any intentions of playing more gigs?

italicdj : Did you know Sian, there's a massive trend starting for classical music mixed with trance & deep house, ever thought about trying to combine your mixing with your classical music?
Sian Evans : Crikey, I'd love to try it actually. Sounds much more experimental than I have ever done before though.
Nagare : Sian, have u kept in touch with the girls?
arthur : Do you miss the lifestyle?
Sian Evans : I've kept in touch with everyone, especially Anne, Lottie and Gill. I've been clubbing regularly since I got back from Manchester.
Hitby : How scared were you when you went to the Cross?
Sian Evans : Terrified! I knocked the needle off the record in the first mix I intended to do, which threw me, but then I got much more confident.
Damo1 : How does it feel now that the program has been shown?
Sian Evans : I just watched it myself for the first time and wasn't sure what to expect, so it was actually really emotional, but I'm really pleased with it.
Vanessa : How long ago was it since you filmed the show?
Sian Evans : The last night of filming was on 25th February.
Selina : Have you changed back to your 'old' image?
Emma : I love your hair, SO much, i'm getting mine done like that

Sian Evans : Ah! I have changed my image fairly radically. It takes me a lot longer to get ready in the morning!
Steve C : Do you feel the whole experience has fundamentally changed you for the better?
Sian Evans : Yes, absolutely, I have a broader perspective and I am much more confident.

Dubsey : How did the opportunity to do the programme come up in the first place?
Sian Evans : The TV company were in contact with music colleges around the country and the President from my college gave them my number without my permission.

Sian Evans : They got in contact with me suggesting the idea, which I was intrigued by.
Ann : Sian, you were fantastic! we were glued to the set!!
Pauldes : What did you old friends think of the 'new' you?
Sian Evans : A little surprised, but really excited and chuffed for me. I'm trying to get them interested in house music.
NOidentity : what tips can you give to a 1st time d/j now that you have done it
Sian Evans : Ooh, erm...this is *so* not my field. I'd say be true to your style of music and practice practice practice.
Birdy : What was the best part of the whole DJing experience?
Sian Evans : Finding out that I could change and find amazing friends from a completely different planet.
Gavyn : Which part of the challenge was hardest? The lifestyle and attitude or the actual mixing?
Sian Evans : The mixing. It's not necessary to have the attitude as much as it is to be able to entertain people.
richard : do you get angry in clothes shops often?
josh : when you go to a clothes shop now, will you still use your attitude

Sian Evans : I'm more assertive but still can't be rude.

Servalan : Do you think your musical background made any difference at all to the challenge?
Sian Evans : Yeah a lot. Beat matching was relatively easy after I'd grasped it, but it was more finding music that I really liked.
Darren : What influenced your choice of tracks for the gig? (In my opinion they were excellent!)
Sian Evans : I used to play the saxophone and love live elements combined with sampling.
Sinead : Do you have a 'DJ' nickname now?
Sian Evans : Haha, it's really complicated to explain...DJ Sian most commonly. However they changed my name to DJ Eve because I was meeting people from the industry all the time and the TV company were scared that it may somehow leak to the judges.
Tim Jules : DJ Sian is COOL......
OutFoxed : do you plan going to ibiza?
Sian Evans : Yes! Or maybe back to Greece.
Arunmax : Great one Sian, we were cheering you all the way, but we were wondering how your parents felt about you doing the show.
Scott : What have your parents said about it all?

Sian Evans : My Mum was worried about the drugs issue but knew I'd be fine and I lay her fears to rest and told her I wouldn't swear because my Nan would be watching! The worst I said on camera was tits and bloody. There was a lot worse off camera though!

Sian Evans : I suppose the type of music that I played, I chose my own records and despite my initial thoughts at the start of the show I ended up loving the music.

Sian Evans : I've bought 5 or 6 new records. They're very expensive and I need a pair of decks.
