Chat Ed : We'll get cracking shall we? Welcome Stuart!
Duncan7000 : STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART STUART
Stuart : Hi everybody, thanks for joining us in the webchat!
Lisey : HELLO STUART
martin sears : hi stuart mate!!!
Stuart : Looking forward to your questions.
GARRYE : hi stu
Cecil : yoooooo
Stuart : Let the fun begin!
Chat Ed : Righto, First question:
kelly-jo : who will you be voting out this week???
Stuart : I'm not going to be voting at all throughout the whole show. That's something I feel very strongly about. Basically it's a game, and the nominations are part of the game while you're in the house. I'm not going to extend that into 'real life'.
Robbie : Hi Stuart, this is Rob from Birmingham. Do u think Dean has got a good chance of winning. I don't think he has received a vote yet, why do u think this is?
Stuart : Hi Rob. I've spoken to Dean's family and they're all a bit surprised he hasn't got himself involved a bit more. I think the reason that he hasn't got any nominations is that he hasn't done anything. Therefore the housemates are looking more at the characters of the house, and they stand out more than someone who is basically sitting on the fence.
flapping_hair_in_the : Why did you decide to get involved in the first place? You seem to have a good life without needing the 'fame'?
Stuart : I got involved because I wanted a new challenge, a new experience. Although I've read a lot of times that I have a good life I'm always prepared to take risks. Basically I've been involved in business for many years and taken many risks throughout that career. This challenge created a similar type of risk.
Lucy : Looking at the footage of yourself now, do you think you would have rang in and voted yourself out?
Stuart : No, I wouldn't have voted myself out! I would have kept myself in completely. This is because I was bound to have had another argument over the next week and upset somebody, and that would have been entertaining TV.
D1ZZY 24 7 : oooo good answer
DaveGardner : Exactly why Narinder should stay in!
Stuart : Having watched the footage of myself I notice that people are portrayed in a certain way. I'm noticing now watching the programme that certain characteristics of people are not necessarily a true reflection of the personalities inside the house.
TheSunExclusive : where can we but the 'Stuart Actionman Doll' complete with 'wink slider' at the rear of head?
Stuart laughs
Stuart : They're for sale, from my house, at £50 a shot!
Chat Ed chuckles
Twinkle : Did you and the other housemates have any 'training' by Big Brother prior to going into the House? Were there many rules, were you told to act in a certain way, etc?
Stuart : No, I think the idea of the programme is to have completely normal people in the house who will behave exactly as they would do in real life. There was no training given, no suggestions and all performances that you saw were real, if not sometimes embarrassing!
Katie : Are you given counselling to cope with the press, tv etc?
Stuart : There is no formal counselling to handle press or TV; a lot of it is dependent on your own common sense. Sometimes this is very difficult, and I'm acutely aware that certain things, actions and behaviours can be misconstrued.
Richard Antrobus : What was the worst bit about being in the Big Brother house????
Stuart : Richard, the worst bit was definitely missing my family. That was very hard at times, especially on my wedding anniversary and my son's birthday. I did however laugh a lot, had a great time and if really possible, let my hair down!
grid : Some of the housemates seem to have a good relationship with Big Brother, others seem to be quite defensive - did you get on with Big Brother?
Stuart : Grid (cool name), Big Brother is a scary authoritarian figure! Each time I was called into the diary room it was like being called into the headmaster's office.
Fat Homer : Stuart, what are you going to do for a job since you resigned from the one you were in to go into the house?
Stuart : Fat Homer, I left the house with no preconceived ideas, and this week has been very challenging and exciting. I've enjoyed presenting Big Brother's Little Brother with Dermot, and based on the reaction I've received and the comments from the production team I would like to pursue a career in presenting of some sort. If that doesn't happen you'll see me down the job centre!
liz : Elizabeth....... I would like Stuart to know that I think he is fab now , yet I hated him in the show ,he seems like a totally different guy now how come Stuart ?
Stuart : I was surprised at the percentage of people that voted me out from the house. My initial reaction was that I was going to be the most hated man in Britain! In the house I basically had two serious arguments, both unfortunately involved alcohol, and in both I regret that I didn't stop at the point when the argument had finished. I appreciate your comment that you're seeing a different side to me. I think this is a little to do with the role and perception that the TV was there to create.
Jenna : Were you ever worried about media or the public placing you in a certain role from the first BB, like Nasty Nick?
Stuart : I've always been an honest and upfront person, and openly declaring that I am a poser! But I'm certainly not a nasty Nick.
Stu Fan : If you was ever asked to take part in Big Brother again, would you do it?
Stuart : Yes, absolutely. With knowing what I know now my approach would be different. I had a game plan which I was following, however the real me has only come out now. If I had stayed in the house a few more weeks you would have seen the progression of my own character. I have no regrets. What I managed to do in the house, certainly with Penny and Amma, was uncover certain of their vulnerabilities and I believe that this, in the main, led to the arguments that you've all seen.
nckiely : if u could design your own task for the current house mates what would it be?
Stuart : As Big Brother this year is meant to be extreme, I would have extended the dance challenge to 24 hours and enjoyed getting the whole group out of bed at 4AM to perform the conga. I would really love to psychologically affect them all by one day calling in my own voice, 'Will Dean please come to the diary room'!
Ilovebrian : who did you dislike the most in the BB house?
Stuart : Unfortunately this is going to be a boring answer! I didn't dislike anyone in the house, which made nominating very difficult. All of the housemates were open in discussing that there was nobody in the house we disliked, and that given the situation and bizarre circumstance we found ourselves in, we will keep in contact. What I will say for the record is that Penny and I will probably not stay in contact. This is probably more over the fact that I have mentally left Big Brother behind me, and unfortunately I don't think she has done that yet!
Shane Biggest BB FAN : What did you think of Pennys reaction when you came face to face on E4's Big bro Little bro?
miss middlemiss : I really liked your bum
Chat Ed grins
Stuart laughs
Stuart : I was shocked at the reaction that I received from Penny. As I've just stated, I have left the Big Brother experience mentally. I said from the beginning I was going to invite them all to a party afterwards; that will still happen and Penny will receive an invite. What I stated publicly is that I learnt a great deal about myself from the experience, and that I had learnt when to back down. I think I proved that on the show.
shelley : hi, i just want to know what was your best bits of being in big brother?
Stuart : The best bit was getting out!
Stuart laughs
Stuart : I laughed every day I was in the house though, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
nickyH : if you had won the 70k what would you have spent it on?
Stuart : Nicky, I was never in the programme for the money, only for the personal experience and challenge. If I had won the 70k I was going to give it away to a cancer charity. Unfortunately last year my mother-in-law developed breast cancer. Thankfully she is fully recovered, but given the care and treatment that she received I felt this would be a valuable way of returning something to the charity.
Peachboy : Have you got anything to do with that 'SMELL' that is in the kitchen? {wink wink}?
Stuart : No, but I wish I'd thought of it before I left! I understand kippers on the radiator have the same effect... not that I'm trying to give you any ideas!
natalie : Did you ever consider NOT going to the diary room when called, just to see what BB would do and react?
Stuart : No, because Big Brother has the ability to change the rules at any point in time, and therefore by not obeying them you would be subject to eviction.
Chat Ed : OK y'all - our half hour is up, so last three questions now, thanks!
itsme : was it really like being in jail?
Stuart : Hi itsme. Fortunately I've never been to jail, and therefore if I were to be locked away and jail was like that it's not such a bad place to be!
polly : well done to to you, i think you've done well in such a difficult and testing environment.
Stuart : Thanks very much polly!
Flynn : Is there anything you wish you had done that you didn't?
Stuart : I wish that I could have possibly been a little bit more of the person you're seeing now. However, only being in the house for three weeks I was still playing to my strategy, and therefore hadn't really time to become the funmaster that my children know that I am!
slimshady : Who do you think will win Big Brother 2???
Stuart : Hi slim. I don't know who I think will win. However I would like Bubble win, purely on the basis that he is the only person in the house who's openly stated that he's in it for the money. Seventy thousand pounds is life changing for Bubble, and will allow him to give his daughter everything he's wanted to give her.
Chat Ed : And the very last question now... we must know:
yidaho : Are you planning on releasing a Christmas record?
Stuart : Luckily for everybody out there there is no way I will be releasing a record. However, if you have any good suggestions for a cover I'm always ready to try new challenges!
Stuart laughs
Chat Ed grins
Chat Ed : That's it! Thanks for coming Stuart, that was fantastic. And thanks for all your questions, folks! Hope you all enjoyed it!

Stuart : Thanks to everybody for coming, and thanks for asking some interesting and different questions. As I've stated, I am a nice guy, I'm doing what I can to change the public perception, and hopefully you'll see me around.
Chat Ed : Cheers Stuart!
