Johnny Vaughan : After the first two weeks in January.

Johnny Vaughan : My contract was to finish at the end of the year...
LEe : Any idea's who will be replacing you both?
Johnny Vaughan : ...but because I took an extra two weeks off in paternity leave, I said I'd do an extra couple of weeks and I wanted to end on a live note and not a pre-recorded Christmas show.
Denise Van Outen : I'm leaving on the same day as Johnny because I like to go out with a bang.

chatty : how is being a dad affecting your work are u up all night?
Blue Eyes : Are you coping well with the late night...early mornings..?
Johnny Vaughan : Tabitha sleeps 7 till 7, she's a model baby, so it's been ok. I get to spend all day with her when she is up - I get home at about 11am which is her playtime, it's the perfect job for young fathers. I emphasise the young.
Denise Van Outen : What do you mean young, you're not that young! I'd like to point out that I don't have any children. But I have got lots of animals!

Johnny Vaughan : Definitely. Can I just say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE doing the Big Breakfast, it's Britain's only live daily entertainment show. But the hours, I just have to get my life back, my wife can't stand it.
Denise Van Outen : Yeah, that's why I left the first time, cos of the hours...

Denise Van Outen : Yes! It's something that is being set up as we speak, it's up and running in the new year!
benf : what are you doing for the last show - anything outrageous?
Johnny Vaughan : Don't know yet. I never know what's happening on the BB until I get in the car in the morning.
Denise Van Outen : I never know until it's finished!
Johnny Vaughan : The day before we hear about the guests at a meeting, that takes two minutes, then we go home, then the next day we get the script. We have no say in anything, we get up and do the show we're given, and that's the way we like it.
Denise Van Outen : And Johnny always chooses my clothes in the morning!

Denise Van Outen : No. I've done two, I'm bored of it now and it's time to move on and do something different.

Denise Van Outen : Cos we'd have to get up even earlier!!!
Johnny Vaughan : Are there any viewers who can acknowledge that I was the FIRST PERSON on British TV to mention the word mullet? I imported that word!

Johnny Vaughan : I go on the internet a bit, but I actually use it now for just boring things like booking flights and supermarket shopping. I can never find the site I want anymore. You search for something simple and it finds you like, 22 million sites. It's all commercial, nothing's for free any more, it's all about money. Just like an infinitely boring magazine.
Denise Van Outen : I'm booking my nan a holiday on the internet this afternoon!

Denise Van Outen : I went to Sylvia Young Theatre School, for slags :) Quite hard to get into... but if your parents are loaded it's alright. I got a scholarship, I was very lucky.
Drb : when you both finish working on the bb do you have any input as to who replaces you?
Denise Van Outen : No.
Johnny Vaughan : No. But the show's bigger than all of us. It goes on.
ross white : johnny just to say the other day you looked cool in that pink sheepskin, was that denise's?
Denise Van Outen : It was yellow sheepskin! And yes, it was mine.
gazbailey : what was it like to interview the gallagher brothers and are the same as the press make out?
Johnny Vaughan : It's weird. I first interviewed the Gallaghers when they'd just started, and when you do that you're always on that level. They're still the same lads from Manc that I met from the start. What you can never underestimate though is that Liam definitely has got some rock 'n'roll gene, some star quality, and Noel is just an excellent chap.
Claire Vaughan : Denise - do you actually drink Nescafe?
Denise Van Outen : Yes! Every morning. I like to get something hot inside me.
