Chat Ed : OK folks - welcome Stephen and Louise!
Louise : Hello everyone! It's Louise here!
Stephen : Hi everybody!
ChazBabe54 : hi louise
benjytrainer : Hello !
Boyleman : I noticed that a newspaper has printed a result - ie girls win by a mile - is this true?
Louise : You'll just have to keep watching.
Stephen : Whoever wins it's not by a mile that's for sure. It's very close.
newcastle_lad : what was the best and worst moment of running the bar? and how much rivalry went on between the boyz and girlz! was it actually like on tv, or was there plenty of backstabbing?
Stephen : I think the best thing was having our own freedom to do what we wanted. It was great living and working together as a team but that was also the worst thing at times.
Louise : The best thing for me was counting the till up at night. All the money that we'd made was our own and it was up to us to come up with the events and so when we counted up all the money at the end of the night it was very satisfying. The worst part was the first week with all the arguing. I was just crying and crying. I'm still waiting for my sponsorship from Kleenex!
Stephen : It's all over now baby, don't worry!
susan : When I was in Kavos this year, I thought the beach was disgusting - what was it like when you were there (no offence)
Denise : would u return to kavos for a holiday?
Louise : Not in a million years would I ever return. If I never see another Greek Island it will be too soon. The beach is minging. That's Kavos for you really!
Stephen : I think there were a few small, nice, places if you could find them. After 8 or 9 pints it seemed fine! I don't think I'd ever go back there again.
Paulshe : How far apart where the bars? The potential of hijacking each others night was not looked upon strongly enough.
Stephen : They were really close. Literally 500 yards. Yeah walking distance. We could see the girls bar through our pair of binoculars that we had. We looked at them all day!
Louise : Are you havin' a giraffe Paulshe, we were continually sabotaging the clients going to Climax! All the time!
ChazBabe54 : hi there lLouise i'm a very big fan of bar wars and your my favourite person! Did you take a liking to any of the lads?
Louise : Oooh! That would be giving the game away. If you can wait a couple more weeks then maybe you'll find out.
Shelton : Stephen, We are all dying to know if your girlfriend went off her head after you snogged that bird on the show....well? :o)
Louise laughs
Louise : I could not believe it!
Stephen : I spoke to her straight afterwards and I have since been forgiven. I got my 5th and final piercing today - that will stop me doing anything like that until I see her again.
sorted : stephen, did you regret sacking Richard after winning the first week and then losing 2 weeks running after he was gone?
Mikee B : looking back don`t you think that the two guys chucked out were the two who knew the score and would you have chosen differently having rewatched the events
Stephen : I think coming up to sacking somebody when we didn't want anybody to go. We only did it because we had to. Someone had to go. I don't like to look back and regret things or judge people. So the only way to make it work was to try and work harder after the sackings. I don't think there was a right decision at the time.
RedStripe : was it too much work to be a holiday or did you still get time to yourselves to have a laugh?
Louise : Are you havin' a giraffe as well!!!!!! It was NOT a holiday at all. I take great offence to that term. I am now having a holiday being back home with my sanity!
Shelton : Good holiday louise? lol
Stephen : We went out after work every night, but it was still you know...
Louise : Oh yeah pushing the boat out! We went for a milkshake Es Paradiso!
Letch and woo girl : Louise - have you continued your career in dancing?
Louise : At the moment the dance career is currently on hold, I'm a lady of leisure after such a traumatic experience in Kavos. I'm doing what I do best, other than dancing...shopping!
Stephen : I signed my first autograph today! 4 17 yr old girls came up to me! It was mad!
Proton : Being male, obviously at the start i wanted the lads bar to win. However after seeing tonight episode, the boys didnt seem to have any go about them at all. Almost as if they didnt even want to be there. Why was that?
Stephen : I think because the girls were beating us hands down especially by the time Mark 'The Bear' joined us. He had been battered down too and realised why we were down. It was very soul destroying to see the girls bar full and ours empty.
Louise : Aaaah!
Crash Bandicoot!!! : Did u think the competition was run fairly?
Louise : Yes, yes, yes and yes again!
Stephen : Absolutely. We had everything equally.
Shelton : Is anyone from either of the teams now an item since the show has finished?
justhavinanosy : so will you saty in touch with the opposite team?
Louise : Oooh that would be telling!
Stephen : Me and Shanners, we're trying to get a place together now.
Stephen laughs
Louise : I think we all see each other quite frequently. It was really nice last week as we all had a reunion. We all love each other.
Stephen : We can look back on it and laugh now.
Louise : Yeah making these friends under such weird circumstances was a great thing to come out of this.
Stephen : People that we didn't perhaps get on with so well on the show are now getting on better.
linda : hoe come the girls got the bar that was b4 the lads one? did ye get to choose which bar ye wanted?
Proton : About the locations of the bars. If the bars had been swapped, with the boys running the girls bar, would things have turned out differently?
Louise : No we didn't get to choose. It was just decided on arrival. But keep watching there's a twist coming up!
Paulshe : How did the initial 5 people get picked?
Stephen : There was an audition process.
Louise : The first one was a group audition with about 20 others. Having gone through that, if you were selected for the 2nd one that one was more intense, a one-on-one. A bit like Mastermind!
Stephen : We had to fill in theridiculouslysly long forms and questionnaires too.
Louise : Yeah a big black leather chair and a spotlight and all these questions! It was pressure!
sexy donuts : Did you ever feel like giving up and going home ?
Louise : Everyday yes. The first 3 weeks were so intense. The irony being that my suitcase didn't get un-packed until week 6. It was as though I'd tempt fate by un-packing!
Stephen : I felt like a bit of a loner for the first 2 weeks. Then I settled down and found friends in the group and and outside the group.
Chat Ed : And lastly:
RedStripe : do you think Bar Wars will have helped your careers here?
Proton : Possible TV Careers beckonning for any of you???
Stephen : I don't think many of us expect anything out of Bar Wars. It's not as big as most shows. But you get recognised in the street which is interesting and I like doing the publicity.
Louise : When I was out in Kavos, working with the crew, I kind of decided that I did not want a job in the media. It's just not my kettle of fish. But I got to interview lots of people while I was out there, like Shola Ama, DJ Luck and MC Neat and Dane Bowers. I loved that. I like chatting to and meeting people. So maybe presenting, I don't know though.
Chat Ed : That's it! Thanks for that Stephen and Louise, great stuff! Thanks for joining us tonight everyone. You can also buy the CD to accompany the show from the Channel 4 Shop at http://www.channel4.com/shop !
Louise : See you around! Nice chatting to you! Keep watching.
ChazBabe54 : cya
Proton : bye louise!!!!!!!!!!! (and stephen) thanks for chatting :)
linda : bye
Shelton : See ya!
Stephen : Goodbye, thanks and goodnight.
