Richard : Hello Bar Wars people! Ask away...
glitter : So is it really the ideal job working in a beach bar or is it the job from hell?
JC_Leeds : Do you guys wish you could stay out there running the bars forever
Katy laughs
Katy : No way!
Richard : Great challenge. It's more of a competition now but I couldn't do it as a full-time job, but for this it was great.
Jamie : Were either of you not worried at how channel 4 would portray you on TV? Like they could make you seem like a complete TAPDANCER or BOLERO.
Katy : I was very worried, but if you are the person that you are all the time then you've got nothing to worry about. But we knew that when we signed up for the game so we accept it.
Richard : I am a little concerned about how I'm looking at the moment.
Katy : SLAPPER!
Richard : I'm not really like that. I'm starting to regret some things.
Katy : Don't regret anything.
JENNY : id regret nothing rich, your a honey
BigNick : Before it gets going too much, can I just say: Danni?!? What a b.itch. Was she as much a nightmare as she seems?
Katy : COMPLETELY!
Richard : Yeah, totally.
Katy : She has no care for anyone but herself. People do have problems in their lives which lead them to be the way that they are but we appreciate that, so I'm sure she had reasons for being so horrible, angry, nasty and bitter.
ste17 : Katy did you fancy John in anyway, coz it looked like he really like u.... o n by the way Katy me finks ya well fit!!
Richard laughs
Katy : Thanks ste. I didn't fancy him physically but I was attracted to his personality and intelligence.
Charmer : Yeh this is for katie was there ever a time you just wanted to leave? and seen as you so pretty you got a boyfriend?
Katy chuckles
Katy : No I haven't got a boyfriend and yes there were plenty of times I wanted to leave because of Danni but as soon as she left I was completely happy there.
Gripper : richard - did you make your '50'? and was that you shagging outside my apart,ent ? :P
Richard laughs
Richard : You'll have to watch it.
NiNnY2k : Richard how many times a week do you workout?
Katy roars with laughter
Richard : Well as I'm a fitness trainer for my job, probably about 4 times a week. It's not a chore to me though, fitness is for life.
MINISTRY kirk : mr ed can u tell rich its kirk and adam from ministry and we ant to get back in contact with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JC_Leeds : is it better than your everyday life, running the bars?
Richard : Oh riiight, I hope you're ok you guys! JC...yeah without a doubt! It is hard work though. Each day was a challenge, but I'd swap it for this routine any day.
Katy : It was an absolute dream to run the bar. There were no 'real' problems. No bills, no hassle from the outside world. We had a good time out there.
Derek and Clive : lo K and R :) most ratted night? anecdotes please :D
nick_trumble : what was your best moment there?
Katy : Most ratted night - when I stayed to watch the sun come up with a bloke from essex. That was the day we went to the White House where we found out who won and lost. Best moment was when we won a week that we didn't expect to win. That was a great achievement over the boys, but you'll have to keep watching to find out which week that was.
Richard : Two ratted nights for me: one I can't tell you about - you'll have to wait and watch it - the other was just the opening of the bar. We went mental really, you know getting to know each other, it was an all-nighter that first night.
Flamer : How easy is it to set up a bar there? and how hard did you have to work to get on the show?
Katy : To be honest to get on the show was just a question of being yourself. That's all it was. Once we were there it was a dream come true. It was sun, it was sea, it was sex, sex, sex!
Richard : The journey there was a challenge in itself. You enter these things without really thinking you'll get it. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Matt_Manchester : how did you hear about it?
Katy : It was advertised on Channel 4. So we applied.
Richard : Yeah same for me. You just had to call up and get an application form.
Chris : Why did the girls let Danielle get away with not doing her fair share of the work?
Katy : Because Danni was an absolute monster. It was like trying to tell the Terminator not to shoot the policeman. She was a NIGHTMARE. There is nothing you can tell her that she doesn't already know.
Neo Sielu : How Stressfull was it doing bar wars?
Richard : It puts a stress on your character. Running it and making a team of it was challenging though. The major stress was among the mental side of it.
Katy : The stress was intensified by it not only being a job in a very hot and competitive climate but also working with people we had never met and dealing with situations that we had never had to deal with.
sara : if you could go back and change something you done, what would it be?
Richard : Sleeping with Danielle. I'd change the way I'm being portrayed too i.e. as a flirt.
Katy : There are things I would change but they are further in the show so I can't tell you them. But some of the sackings I do regret. NOT Danielle's.
Gripper : What a mad place! Sorry - I didnt make it to eother of your bars, but judging by the amounts I saw drunk in the main strip bars did you find you ever ran out of booze (I noticed how little you stocked up last week!)
channelpwoar : Did you find it hard not to drink all the profits?
Katy : How rude Gripper!
Richard : We didn't have a problem with booze, we always had a constant supply, you should have come down, you missed out.
Katy : The cost of Greek drinks is so minimal that the profit that we made was vast so anything that we drank didn't make that much difference. We did 15 hour shifts so we had to drink a lot to keep us sane! We drank only the cheap drinks though.
STE : Do you still see the other contestents on the show?
Katy : The girls have been staying at my house all week as has John and we've met up in town with future contestants. I saw Richard on Thursday.
Richard : Yeah I agree with that.
Kristian : what is your best and worst memory of bar wars
Katy : Best is yet to come, I can't disclose it. The worst memory is Danielle.
Richard : I hate to be boring but I can't disclose either of them but they're coming up on the show soon.
shanks : Are you going back to Kavos next summer?
lizzie : if given the chance would you do it again?
Richard : I'm planning on going there and other places too. I just fancy a bit of a tour and doing the same stuff as I did there in other places, while I'm still young.
Katy : I'd never go back to that flea-ridden cess pit as long as I live, Kavos was hell, it mings!
